Five commissioners resign from Fubara’s cabinet in one day

Also, the Commissioner for Social Welfare and Rehabilitation, Aguma, claimed working under an unconducive environment was the reason behind her resignation.


She said: “Pursuant to the current unconducive working environment, it is imperative to tender my resignation as Commissioner for Social Welfare and Rehabilitation, Rivers State.


“I resign with all sense of responsibility especially as there is no room for progression development in the work place.”

The EFCC Obtains Arrest Warrant For Yahaya Bello

     His Excellency Yahaya Adoza Bello, the formal governor of Kogi State. The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission on Wednesday was granted a warrant by a Federal High Court in Abuja to apprehend Yahaya Bello, the former governor of Kogi State. The warrant was issued following an ex parte motion filed by the EFCC. In his ruling on the motion, Justice Emeka Nwite also directed that the former governor be produced before him on Thursday, April 18, for arraignment. He said, “It is hereby ordered as follows: Earlier, a Lokoja High Court  restrained  the EFCC from arresting, detaining and prosecuting the immediate past governor of Kogi State. Meanwhile, the incumbent governor of Kogi State, Usman Ododo, on Wednesday, helped the embattled former governor of the state escape arrest by operatives of the EFCC.
