Governor Ododo’s Eid-el-Fitr Message: A Call for Unity, Peace, and Progress
Kogi State Governor, Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo, has extended his warm Eid-el-Fitr greetings to all Kogites, emphasizing the values of unity, love, and collective progress. He urged citizens to embrace these principles as they celebrate the completion of Ramadan.
In his message, Governor Ododo described Eid-el-Fitr as a time for reflection and gratitude, reminding the people of Kogi that the lessons learned during Ramadan—sacrifice, patience, and compassion—should continue to guide their daily lives.
“This celebration is not only a time of joy but also a moment to renew our commitment to peace, love, and mutual understanding,” he stated. “Let us work together, beyond our differences, to build a stronger and more prosperous Kogi State.”
The governor reassured the people of his administration’s commitment to development, security, and economic growth. He noted that significant efforts are being made to enhance infrastructure, create job opportunities, and improve social services across the state.
“As we move forward, I encourage everyone to support government initiatives that aim to make life better for all. We can only achieve true progress when we work together with a shared vision for our state’s future,” he added.
Governor Ododo also called on religious and community leaders to continue promoting peace and harmony among the people, urging Kogites to be agents of positive change in their communities.
He concluded by wishing all Muslims a happy and blessed Eid-el-Fitr, praying for continued peace, prosperity, and divine blessings for Kogi State and Nigeria as a whole.
