Labour Party Suspends Governor Alex Otti, Senators Over Alleged Anti-Party Activities The Labour Party has announced the indefinite suspension of six of its top members over alleged anti-party activities.  Among those suspended are the Governor of Abia State, Alex Otti, and two senators—Darlington Nwokocha and Ireti Kingibe. The Labour Party stated that it remains committed to internal discipline and accountability, emphasizing that no member is above the party’s constitution.  According to the party’s national leadership, the suspended individuals were found to be engaging in actions that undermine the party’s progress and unity, especially at a critical time when it is striving to strengthen its presence across the country.
