Abia State Police Begins Enforcement of Third-Party Insurance, CP Warns Against Misconduct

The Abia State Police Command has officially begun enforcing third-party motor insurance compliance in the state. Commissioner of Police, Danladi Isa, has issued a strong warning to officers, particularly those in the Safer Highway Unit and State Traffic division, against engaging in unprofessional conduct.

He emphasized that officers must carry out their duties with integrity and civility, ensuring they do not harass or extort members of the public. CP Isa made it clear that any officer caught engaging in misconduct would face strict disciplinary actions.

This move aims to promote lawful enforcement, protect road users, and enhance public trust in the police force.
