The Federal High Court in Abuja reminded the formal governor of Kogi State Alhaji Yahaya Bello in kuje correctional facility till 25th February 2025

The Federal High Court in Abuja has ordered the remand of the former Governor of Kogi State, Alhaji Yahaya Bello, in Kuje Correctional Facility until February 25, 2025. 



Bello is facing allegations of misappropriating ₦110 billion during his tenure as governor. 


The case highlights growing concerns over accountability and corruption in public office in Nigeria. Further proceedings are expected to shed more light on the matter.
